Southern Utah RV Resort

The Southern Utah RV Resort is a wonderful place to stay! We have enjoyed multiple stays here, mostly in the Loft. We loved the heated pool, hot tub, cold plunge, fire pits, and other activities. Staff was exceptional, especially Kylie who was very helpful. We will be back.

I don’t know about all the different sites so this based on my experience with B2. Pros off staying here: it has every amp connection, 20,30,50; an RV dump at each site; water at each site; showers; it has a pool which was warm enough to get right in; it had a hot tub; an ice bath (I only got in for 10 seconds); a place to take your dog;a pickleball court; a basketball court (same court); a gas fireplace, cornhole game; great and helpful staff. Things that were lacking: the mini golf could have been designed better; playground has hard rocks instead of softer ground; clubhouse closes at 6:00pm. Honestly I had to really dig for negatives because this place was pretty awesome and we would come back here for sure. I highly recommend it for RV camping.

Site was clean and ready when we pulled in on Thanksgiving day! Laundry facilities were great. Even though it’s next to the freeway it was quiet. Definitely stay again!!

Great RV spot. There isn’t any shade but the spots are graveled and nice. The staff are very, very nice.

Very friendly staff and some of the spots are tight but still nice. We are only here for one night and the place was more than adequate for a quick rest. I do have a couple of concerns that would have made it less comfortable for us for more than one night. First, there are only two shower stalls per restroom. Occupancy is very low on our night here and yet that was still an issue. My only complaint, though, is that we requested a certain spot and it was not honored. They do note on the site that they reserve the right to change your reservation to another space in order to meet their needs, but for this night it seems odd to have done that. There are so few people here. Occupancy is very low so I don’t understand why we were made to be right in between other guests. We really wanted a little separation from other guests, even if by just one spot between us and them. But they took 5 RV’s and put us all next to each other and we felt very cramped and uncomfortable. We walked a few spots down and there are nothing but empty spots everywhere, including the one we requested. When occupancy is so low, why not let your paying guests have a little privacy? Also, there are pickle ball courts and a putting green but we weren’t able to use either since we arrived at roughly 6 pm. The putting green looked like it was being landscaped at this time, too, so probably not useable. If they would allow people to choose their spots and honor that selection, we would certainly come back again. But picking our spot is important to us, so for that reason this particular resort isn’t a good fit for us. Still nice, though.

This has been my favorite park in all of Southern Utah and I have stayed at all of them for a month or longer. All the amenities have been up to par! The pool was clean and refreshing in the heat. The showers were good! They had some water pressure issues but the shower heads were then replaced quickly. Marysa was exceptional. She was so quick to answer any questions we had and checking in was so convenient with the map to our site was ready for us upon after hours in a little station in the front! I believe Brevin was the landscaper I had the chance to talk with and he was extremely kind and willing to help us with any requests we brought up. The only downside I have with the park is the location. It’s much better with the new Freeway wall, but you can still hear the noise at times. Overall I can see why they won the Best Of Southern Utah gold medal.
