Santee State Park, nestled along Lake Marion in central South Carolina, boasts 158 campsites divided between two campgrounds – Cypress View (50 sites) and Lakeshore (108) – each accommodating RVs up to 40 feet. Sites are equipped with water, 30 A and 50 A electric, sewer, picnic tables, and fire rings; both back‑in and pull‑through spots are available alongside tent‑friendly pads. The nightly rates range from $25 to $40, depending on season and day. A convenient dump station, modern restrooms with hot showers, and a laundry facility serve all campers. Boaters and anglers will appreciate two boat ramps and boat rental access to Lake Marion, which offers excellent fishing for bass, catfish, and more. On land, there are multiple hiking trails, a 7‑mile bike loop, and abundant wildlife viewing opportunities. The park stays open year‑round.
