Pine Acres Family Camping Resort

We just stayed here weekend of 6/4/25. It was my first time and my wife’s first time back since her family had a seasonal when she was a kid. We really enjoyed it. The grounds were well maintained, bathrooms were updated and super clean, and staff was very helpful and friendly. We stayed in the R loop. Sites were well maintained (a little bit of poison ivy along the edges), level, and roomy. The pool was a good size and very clean, and there is a fun splash pad on the side. The pond is a good size and great for canoes / kayaks, and their little beach area was nice and clean with a couple benches. Nice basketball and tennis court, there was a good playground, and a little wiffle ball field. drawbacks that prevent a 5 star: they charge for things that maybe should be included. We had to pay an extra fee for our child, and he’s 6. That seems a little greedy to me and not indicative of a “family” campground. They also have a small mini golf course on site but it’s $9 per person, that access should be part of the nightly. They also charge for wi-fi, which again, should be included in the nightly fee. Overall we enjoyed it and will likely be back.

We had our first stay at Pine Acres due to other family members raving about the location. LOVED IT! So much to do on site and the grounds are spotless. We stayed in a full service cabin and loved it. We have made reservations to go back twice next year and we are upgrading to a premium cabin because we are bringing friends back with us!

I just spent a week at the campground and had a great time. We were a large group, taking up two cabins and three waterfront sites. Mine site was 83. The camp ground is beautiful. They really do an amazing job keeping the grounds clean. There was a walkway behind our site along the lake that was lit so beautifully at night. Lot of attention to detail. The laundry facilities were clean. We rented golf carts to cruise around they were great. Last year they were new and had some electronic gps that would slow you down In specific areas. This year that was not the case. We brought our own kayaks and fished daily on the lake. We would go to the ice cream store/cafe daily. The store seems to be run by kids. It didn’t seem like there was anyone older than 18 in the store but they all worked hard and were respectful. My only dislike would be (this has nothing to do with the park) there’s nothing around the area to do. The town had very little unless you wanted to drive about an hour. This was my second time staying at pine acres. We stay for 6 nights watch time I think the pricing is on par for the amenities. We will be back.

Beautiful location on the lake, we had a lakefront site and it was so peaceful. Friendly staff and resort was almost empty. When we needed service folks were very helpful and available. Only issue was that the pool was closed unexpectedly one day – when I checked in the am there was a sign saying we could use the pool, when I came back a few hours later the pool gate was locked. Camp store and activity centre was closed so can’t comment. Great spot and we’d love to go back. Nice trails and wonderful sites.

I’ve camped since I was a baby and now as a grown adult, I’ve found this to be one of the most awesome places to camp!!!!! Family owned. Great rules to keep everyone safe and ensure a perfect vacation! Our son loves it here as well! It’s the highlight of our year to camp here.
