Campground description

Lazy Acres RV Park, now Beyonder Getaway, operates from April 1 to October 31 near Center Point. Featuring 85 full-hookup RV sites (30/50 amp) plus 8 electric-water and 4 tent spots, it’s designed for big rigs (up to 120 ft) with gravel pull-through pads and grassy surroundings. The well-kept bathhouse includes hot showers and laundry facilities. Campers also enjoy a dump station, LP gas, an RV wash, a store, a pavilion, picnic tables, and firewood sales. Free Wi-Fi ensures connectivity. The park excels in family offerings: a fishing pond with pedal boats, mini-golf, disc golf, a playground, an arcade, a splash pad, and volleyball and horseshoe courts provide ample fun. A pavilion and group sites support gatherings. Good Sam discounts apply. Pet-friendly policies allow dogs on leashes. Conveniently located off I-380, it’s close to Cedar Rapids but retains a calm, wooded feel. Operated by Beyonder Camp since 2022, it continues a legacy of cleanliness and guest focus. This park blends ample amenities, solid value, and family-friendly recreation in a private setting.

Great place! Sites were level and spacious

Great place! Sites were level and spacious. Bathrooms and showers were clean. Very convenient just off main road with very little road noise. They also had a huge dog park!

Great resort, loved the size of the spots

We camped for the night on our way back home! Great resort, loved the size of the spots, I liked I could check in online. It was raining when we got there, but it looked like a nice resort. The bathrooms were nice and very clean.

Nice level roomy sites

Stayed one night in our 5h wheel. Nice level roomy sites. We’re here in April so not busy. A few seasonal which seem well-kept. Friendly office staff. Super easy on and off highway. Nice and quiet.

Very pretty park with rolling hills, wildflowers and pond. Quiet and friendly. Good location near highway with fuel nearby; also close to town. Would recommend.

We had a great stay at Lazy Acres! The park is under new management and was very clean and well maintained. Our site was very spacious. There are tons of fun amenities. We especially enjoyed the pond and disc golf. We had a great time and will definitely be back!

Maintenance was lacking

Maintenance was lacking as grass wasn’t mowed in the three weeks we were there, roads through campground are in serious need of repair. Bathrooms were not cleaned on a regular basis. We love the location and are planning on coming for a month in 2025 but would like to be assured that the management is taking care of business! A shout out to Hailey for saving injured owl! Also to lady staying in campground that is helping in office! Sorry I forgot her name.
