Elmore State Park offers 59 campsites (44 RV/tent sites and 15 lean‑tos) nestled between Lake Elmore and its namesake mountain. Operated seasonally from Memorial Day until Columbus Day, this park blends natural beauty with historical appeal thanks to its 1930s CCC‑built beach house and rustic structures. RV sites provide basic 20/30‑amp hookups, potable water, and access to a free dump station. Amenities include restrooms with hot showers, picnic tables, fire rings, and freshwater spigots. On‑site recreation includes swimming, boat rentals, trout fishing, sandy beachfront access, and a playground for children. Hiking enthusiasts can tackle trails leading to the summit of Elmore Mountain, which rewards climbers with panoramic views.
