Double G RV Park & Campground is a quiet, family-operated destination nestled near Deep Creek Lake, MD. Open from May 1 to October 31, it offers around 50–100 gravel-padded full-hookup sites (water, sewer, 30/50 A electricity), cable TV, and basic shared Wi‑Fi suitable for email and light browsing. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring. Seasonal campers can enjoy unlimited use during the season, metered electricity, included lawn maintenance, winter storage, and even boat trailer parking. Onsite amenities include laundry, showers, a camp store offering ice, firewood, propane, and RV supplies, a pavilion, a playground, and propane refills. The park allows pets, is big‑rig friendly, and welcomes small RV groups. It’s within walking distance to Garrett College, the county fairgrounds, a gym/swimming complex, and local restaurants. A dump station is included for registered guests. Policies prohibit tents, fireworks, guns, and under‑21 unaccompanied guests. Cancellations made more than 7 days before arrival are refunded (deposit applies), and holiday minimums apply. The warm, family-friendly atmosphere makes it ideal for seasonal stays or extended visits in a relaxed lakeside setting.

The facilities were clean and well maintained.

We stayed at the Double G RV Park in early July of 2021. From the time that we made our reservation until we checked out the staff were SUPER friendly and helpful. The facilities were clean and well maintained. We look forward to making a return trip in the near future.

This was a great park!

This was a great park! The family running it is very friendly and helpful and it’s beautiful! It is very close to the lake and state parks. The regular campers were very friendly as well. It is a dog friendly park. We will be back!

Very friendly helpful staff.

Very friendly helpful staff. We had a nice shady site. They could stand to update and repair their hookups I could barely reach the water and my valve doesn’t work and is dripping. Quiet place and friendly people.

Great location close to the lake

Great location close to the lake, relaxing and family-friendly! We’ve been staying a weekend at Double G RV Park for 3-years now and are already booked for the next year. It fills up fast! The park is mainly seasonal & park models with 10 short-term spots for ‘weekend’ campers. There’s a small camp-store for RV needs + souvenirs and the staff are excellent! If you’re looking for a great place to stay where you can enjoy all the lake has to offer this is a great choice!
