Cherry Hill Park in College Park (Prince George’s County) is a premier private campground just 30 minutes from Washington, DC. With over 500 sites, it features full hookups (30/50 amp, water, sewer), numerous back-in and pull-through concrete/asphalt pads, and on-site cable TV and free Wi-Fi. Guests enjoy large site options, pet-friendly policies, and family-oriented services. There’s an array of accommodations; in addition to RV sites, the park offers cabins, yurts, cottages, and glamping pods. Recreation includes mini golf, a playground, a hot tub & sauna, a tennis court, a fishing pond, and outdoor movies. Amenities include a café/restaurant, general store, laundry, showers, propane, dog run, and recycling. Shuttle service to Metro and DC attractions makes it a traveler favorite. Rates average around $90 per night. According to Reddit reports, there are no discounted long-term or monthly rates. The dump station is available for guests at no extra charge.
