Nestled just a quarter mile from Banning State Park off I‑35 Exit 195, Banning RV Park & Campground spans roughly 40 acres of wooded, gently sloped terrain, offering roughly 300 sites tailored for RVs, tents, cabins, and seasonal setups. It’s a family-run, camper-friendly retreat with free fiber Internet, full 20/30/50‑amp hookups, water, sewer, and a deluxe on-site dump station. Rustic water/no-utility sites are also available, alongside rentable cabins and RV trailers. Amenities are rich, featuring a camp store, laundry, showers, firewood sales, propane nearby, and minor RV repair services. On-site recreation includes a playground, basketball/volleyball courts, bike rentals, a pavilion for gatherings, and a well-equipped dog park. Adjacent to the scenic Kettle River and trails like the Willard Munger State Trail, it’s ideal for outdoor lovers. Great campground

Great campground. They have been open 4 years (I think). Each year the owner is making upgrades. This is the 4th year we have been here with a seasonal site. Have made some great friendships. We can ride our wheelers right out of the campground and ride the shoulder up to Rutledge and can then spend the day on the trails. Really glad we moved our camper. Give it a try.

Great campground for RVs

Great campground for RVs. Staff very friendly and helpful. The full hookups were great. Only drawbacks were lack of shade at most RV sites and not every site had it’s own water connection. Be sure to bring a Y splitter and a lot of hose.

Internet was barely functional.

Overall OK. Great people, quiet, trees. First day of season so things were still a bit disorganized. Bathrooms bit old and cold. Internet was barely functional.

Two dump stations

Pros: -General store -Two dump stations -Multiple indoor bathroom & shower locations (pavilion family bathroom/ shower are nice and remodeled. Other bathroom/showers get the job done) -Multiple playgrounds -Basketball & volleyball courts -Dog gated park with equipment -Pretty quiet and people respected quiet hours -Close to 35 and Banning State Park -Each campsite had a table & firestone ring -Spot 902 had lots of mature trees allowing for extra shade -Staff were super nice -Ran into multiple cleaning people in the bathrooms throughout the long weekend which was awesome. Felt they were cleaned well. Note, it was raining hence the mud on the floor in the bathrooms. Cons: -Camping spots are close in proximity to each other but pretty standard for weekend spots. We really enjoyed our time and recommend it.

Highly recommend for the quiet camping environment!

Perfect campground with all the amenities. It’s my go to for R&R with friends family or a relaxing weekend with my significant other. The onsite shower/restroom facilities are so convenient. I wanted to stay an extra day and get up earlier for work. The laundry room/clubhouse set up made it possible. Highly recommend for the quiet camping environment!
