Acorn Oaks RV Park spreads across 25 acres of peaceful countryside just north of Lafayette, Indiana. Owned by Bill and Christie Nicholson, the site features a laid‑back atmosphere suited for both short-term and discounted long‑term stays. Campers enjoy full hookups (20/30/50 amp), sewer, potable water, pull‑through sites, picnic tables, and fire rings in a mixed park environment with grassy and pad areas.
Amenities include a playground, stocked fishing pond, game room with pool, arcade and board games, plus outdoor fun like basketball, corn hole, crafts nights, wagon rides, and walking trails. A convenient snack shack/general store stocks firewood, ice, bait and basic supplies. Laundry and shower facilities are clean and well-maintained. A dog park, weekly events, and on-site dump station and propane make stays easier.
Connectivity is strong via free Wi‑Fi in common areas, aiding families and remote workers. Regular themed weekends celebrate holidays from Memorial Day to Halloween and Christmas in July . Open April through October, Acorn Oaks is welcoming for all ages, RV sizes, and both tents and rigs, offering a fun, community‑centric camping experience in central Indiana.

Great location for camping

Great location for camping. Very attentive to the needs of the campers. The bath house is clean. Forgot something? No worries this camp store is the most stocked for last minute camping needs I have ever seen. Our group will be back for another caming trip.

Plenty of space for primitive camping

Beautiful location! Plenty of space for primitive camping! Clean bathrooms and shower with hot water! Wish we had more time to spend here! The staff was very helpful checking in before we arrived with info waiting for us when we arrived, and making sure we had everything we needed and checking if we wanted firewood! Can’t wait to go back!!
