Campground description

Boots Campground is a modest, privately owned RV park located just outside Medora, ND, offering 16 RV sites with full hookups: 30/50 amp electric, water and sewer. All sites are gravel pads; most are pull‑through and can accommodate rigs up to approximately 60 ft. There is no office or bathhouse on site guests check in at the nearby Boots Bar & Grill. Although amenities are limited no showers or laundry they provide free WiFi upon booking and allow pets, big rigs, and trash at site. Connectivity is strong for Starlink or satellite users. The setting offers unobstructed views of the North Dakota Badlands and easy access to Theodore Roosevelt National Park and Medora attractions. Nightly rates range from about US $35 to $45. Dump station is available but pricing is not disclosed. The campground is self‑service; guests reserve and choose their site online. It opens seasonally from around May through November (though some listing say open year‑round, utilities are winterized). With no tent sites, it’s RV‑only and suited for travel‑friendly stays without frills.

A very small and quite campground

A very small and quite campgrounds.. Just far enough out of town to be able to disconect and unwind. Close enough if your looking for something to do. My kids had a great time. Can’t wait to stay again.

Perfect for exploring the National Park

RV park close to Roosevelt Nat. park. Sites are very close together, not a place to just spend time at your trailer. Perfect for exploring the National Park. Electric, water, and sewer hook ups.

The views from this campground are fantastic

We stayed here for 2 nights on a visit to Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Check in was completed online so there wasn’t really staff to deal with. Online instructions were very clear. Gravel sites are a little close together. The views from this campground are fantastic and its proximity to Medora and the park are really the appeal. A great spot to use as your base when visiting the area.

Location was perfect. Perfect spot for a stop for the night. Online booking & check in. Not a vacation spot: no office, showers, picnic tables, etc. But the view is beautiful! Oh! And 6 minutes to a dog park 👍

Easy to reserve our site and it’s very quiet and secluded

Easy to reserve our site and it’s very quiet and secluded. Very close to town. Full hookups for 35 a night! What more can you ask for? Better if you are self contained RV/TT as no restrooms or showers. We don’t need them so this is great for us! Park in town and walked around. Medora campground seemed like it would have what tenters are looking for but everyone is on top of each other. Glad to get back to our camper at boots and enjoy a peaceful sunset. Thanks y’all!
