Renaissance faire here in April! It was good

Renaissance faire here in April! It was good. Nice people and fun joust. Definitely worth a trip but the food wasn’t the best sorry you all were so nice but food was mediocre at best.

Each campsite had a picnic table and a fire pit.

We had a great time here! We tent camped in a nice shady spot, check-in was easy, and my son loved that we got to watch a movie outdoors! Each campsite had a picnic table and a fire pit. I added on a full load of firewood, and it was plenty to get us through the weekend. We can’t wait to come back again!

We had a site close to the “private beach” but had people using their tubing service the whole day.

Movie night was our favorite part of our camping trip and staff were very nice and accommodating. Some downsides were that it was not private, felt like there was just too much going on to even relax. We had a site close to the “private beach” but had people using their tubing service the whole day. A bus was constantly coming by all morning/afternoon and later in the evening, drunk people coming back up from the river yelling at us and asking to pet our dogs on their way back to their cars. I would recommend having the landing beach for the tubers in a different location from the campsites. Personally I think over priced but overall a nice place.

A decent little campground

A decent little campground. We won a free firepit rental but they hooked us up for a free tent site! Which was great! Our girls had a blast there! Can’t wait to come back and swim!

Was great! Staff were amazing, So friendly, So very helpful and kind. Our dogs loved it as well. It was nice and quiet at night, except for the trains which is awesome though because that’s all part of camping and country livin! Our neighbors in the rv part were so awesome as well, we even did a float with one family that wasn’t from around here! Our other neighbors sat around our fire and talked and laughed! Great place! Will defiantly be back!!!! Thanks again River West for such a great experience!

A nice little campsite

We had a nice little campsite. We were traveling cross country. Very accommodating and very well kept. There’s outhouses for bathrooms. No power at our site.
