Very nice park

Very nice park with some nice walking trails right near the beach. The oceanview while yes you could see the ocean we it wasn’t what I was imagining. We stayed in #20 with our 35′ Brinkley Model i294 which allowed us to see the ocean enough though the best views seemed to have been #16 or #14 it appears. We did not stay in those so cannot confirm but I appears to be that way from our walks. Staff was friendly but you can tell this is more of a resort than a mom and pop. It almost feels like an ace hardware that bought out a mom and pop. Either way the place is gorgeous and had some nice even level ground with nice quiet neighbors. We will be back next year! Great stuff in the gift shop so spend some money here. I will say avoid the silicone mugs as they do off gas a bit, we bought two and they kind of smell a bit, but everything else from the t shirts to the key chains and stickers are awesome! Great place especially for families.

We had such a fantastic time at HoneyBear! This is truly a great family park, and it’s clear it’s designed with kids in mind. My children absolutely loved it, especially the treats! The cotton candy and popcorn were big hits and definitely added to the fun. We’ll definitely be back for more family memories!

The location of this establishment is highly recommended

The location of this establishment is highly recommended. We stayed for three nights within walking distance of the beach, conveniently situated between Port Orford and Gold Beach. The staff provided excellent service, and there was ample space for our needs. We occupied a 35-foot travel trailer with an ocean-view site. The campground is pet-friendly and offers a game room for entertainment. Basic supplies are available for purchase at their office, and laundry facilities and a bathhouse are accessible to guests.

Beautiful place to stay

Beautiful place to stay! Tammy and David are awesome and deserve a hefty pay raise. Very dog friendly with the beach being about a 5 minute walk away. Nice fenced in dog park. Elk hanging out, birds chirping, and the grounds are very well maintained.

Honey Bear was graciously accommodating

We booked 2 nights here as the southern destination of our week-long Oregon Coast adventure. The reservation procedure was seamless and when we arrived earlier than planned, Honey Bear was graciously accommodating. The campground is immaculate and classy, with beautiful rhododendrons everywhere, biking trails, and greenspace for dogs and bocce ball. It is a gorgeous park, well-maintained, and very friendly people running the place. Highly recommend Honey Bear. We will be back again.

Great location and beautiful scenery! A little further from stores and restaurants so be sure to have a decent amount of groceries with you. The store is well stocked with essentials and a good beer selection.
