I just remembered something that happened when I stayed here in June that was probably worth sharing. I only stayed for one night, but while I was there, a man who was checking out the campground stopped at my site, to look at the hookups. I am a single female traveler, and this man did not check in with the front when he came in, he just drove around and stopped at my site to talk to me and look at the hook up box.
It was kind of strange and it immediately caught the attention of the park hosts / ranger that was at the front, and he immediately jumped on his golf cart and raced over to inquire why he was doing what he was doing and politely asked him not to enter again without coming to the ranger station first. I wish I remembered the gentleman’s name, but I just remembered this and was thankful he was there and was paying attention. It’s nice to know people are looking out for you as a solo female camper and that goes a long way. He was a kind, black gentleman, if that narrows it down. Thankful for you, guy. So overall a good experience. – :-)
