Whitefish RV Park

My husband and I spent two months at the Whitefish RV Park in order to ski the Big Mountain in February and March 2021. As the park was the only year-around property in the area, the choice was pretty simple, but from the first warm welcome from managers Denise and Tom to the last farewell, we knew this park is a gem and we would return. The managers care very much about the property. It shows in all the maintenance, cleaning and security efforts. The park roads were always well cleared of snow, the restrooms were always spotless and the managers’ sharp eyes kept us feeling secure. You could see the bond between Denise and Tom and the year-round residents is strong, and they extend the same sense of family to transients as well. The resort is well located – an easy walk to the town center, grocery stores and the free ski bus that makes the seven mile run to the ski area on a regular basis. A big thank you!

This campground is awesome!! It is ran by two amazing people, Tom and Denise! It is a smaller event park but perfect! Is is very well maintained and has a little laundry room and shower houses. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for an RV park in whitefish! My stay was great, I cannot say enough about Tom, Denise, and the facility!

We couldn’t have had a better experience than we did at Whitefish RV Park! While we are normally more secluded campers we found this being a great option for so many types of campers who are looking for access to amenities like clean showers and bathrooms, hookups and more. We caught a bug and were down for a few days and Whitefish RV Park provided the respite and comfort we wanted while on the road. It wasn’t home, but close. The facility itself sits back off the main highway just enough so most of the traffic noise is minimized, though you’ll still here the loud trucks…again, not too bad. The team here cares about their facility and it shows. 1. The bathrooms were spotless, cleaned regularly and well maintained. 2. Each site was raked after the last guest left, providing a fresh look for the new tenants 3. The little touches like WiFi, flowers and an area to take the dog for a quick poddy break were welcome. The closeness of Glacier and the town of Whitefish itself lends this location to be very good. Anything you’d need; groceries, drugstores, camping gear, etc. are all a stonesthrow away. Whitefish RV was the perfect place for us to recuperate and prepare for what was around the next bend in the road.

Bicycling through on the great divide mountain bike route from Canada to Mexico. This was a great place to stay. Clean and secure, great showers Denise operates the campground and is extremely friendly and helpful. My camp spot was flat with good grass and shaded. Very good experience.

We are staying in Whitefish, and our camper needed its battery charged. We stopped by Whitefish RV Park, and Denise quickly helped us find an outlet we could use. The campground is well-maintained, clean, and friendly. When we asked Denise how much we owed her, she said, “You don’t owe me—just pay it forward.” Wow, you don’t get service like this too often anymore. Thanks for your support and genuine hospitality, Denise. Great place!

I suck for forgetting the host name but she was sweet, helpful and had her son for assistance. I can’t believe how quiet this place was. Based on location seen on maps I thought there would be noise from the major street, but it was quiet every night. I chose the spot for closeness to Glacier Park and due to the closer RV parks being unavailable. I was surprised to find out being close to downtown Whitefish was a blessing. Great places to eat and drink, which a farmers market (including many meal trucks) on Tuesday night. I would bring the RV back here again even if the closer (to Glacier Park) RV resorts had availability. However, I wouldn’t if I had kids. Not really a kid environment. Finding the entrance was a little hard at first. Look for the red ‘Locals’ sign on the West side of the street.
